If a complaint is not dismissed it may be:
- referred to the Head of Jurisdiction to deal with the complaint, which may include recommendations made by the Council about further steps that should be taken in respect of the complaint; or
- further examined by the council as part of a substantive examination process.
If your complaint is not dismissed, the Council will, in most circumstances, inform the relevant judicial officer who is the subject of your complaint that the complaint has been made and that the Council intends to conduct a substantive examination of the complaint.
