Who can make a complaint
Any person can make a complaint.
Complaints about judicial officers can also be made anonymously.
How to make a complaint
Complaints can be made online or sent via email or by post. You can download a copy of the complaint form using the link below and once completed, send it to the Council’s postal address or attach it to an email with the email and postal address details of the Council listed below.
What to include in your complaint
A complaint must include the following:
- The name and address of the complainant; or
- A statement confirming the complaint is being made anonymously; or
- A statement that the complaint is being referred to the council on behalf of another person, regardless of whether the other person is known or anonymous;
- The name of the judicial officer the subject of the complaint; and
- Details of the court case/tribunal reference number or the parties involved in the matter; and
- Full particulars of the allegations that form the subject matter of the complaint.
